Is FR300 Pro compatible with our existing scaffold designs?

BioShrink FR300 Pro is installed using standard scaffold shrink-wrap methods. Design assumptions (ties, bracing, foundations) should be checked by your scaffold designer or Temporary Works Coordinator, as with any encapsulated scaffold. Treat it as a 300 µm FR shrink wrap with additional biodegradation features under test.

Can we use FR300 Pro on long-term projects?

FR300 Pro has a UV life of 12 months+ under typical European exposure. For longer or especially exposed projects, discuss your programme and location with us and your scaffold designer so inspection and maintenance regimes can be set appropriately

How should we dispose of used FR300 Pro wrap?

For now, treat FR300 Pro much like standard construction shrink wrap: • Use Energy-from-Waste where permitted and appropriate • Where film recycling facilities accept similar LDPE wraps, FR300 Pro can be included subject to the recycler’s guidance • Industrial composting and take-back options are in evaluation—see the Evidence & standards page for updates

BioShrink FR300 Pro is a 300 µm flame-retardant shrink wrap developed for scaffold and façade encapsulation, with a built-in biodegradation pathway under specific test conditions. It installs like standard FR wrap, while giving clients a more credible end-of-life roadmap.
