We’re developing BioShrink®, a construction-grade shrink wrap line that uses an additive to make the film more attractive to microbes under specific conditions (for example, certain anaerobic digestion tests).
Early lab data shows microbial colonisation and biogas generation under ASTM D5511/ISO 15985-type test conditions, but this is supporting evidence only – not a UK/EU certification. Right now, the practical, compliant end-of-life route is still energy-fromwaste, with industrial composting and take-back options under evaluation.

Our installed scaffold shrink wrap service generally ranges from £10–£15 per m² (excl. VAT) on installed projects benefiting from reduced rates per m². The price reflects high-quality materials, skilled installation, and compliance with safety regulations.
These ranges are the same ones used in our online Calculator, which then adjusts them for project type, exposure and access.
Factors include:
• The overall surface area being wrapped.
• Film thickness (standard vs. heavy-duty).
• Site conditions such as wind exposure or limited access.
• Any additional detailing required, like doorways, vents, or access hatches.
Quotes are typically sent within one business day of receiving your details. For larger or more complex projects, we may arrange a site visit before finalising your estimate.
No. All quotes clearly show labour, materials, equipment, and travel. If extra work is required (for example, adding extra access points), we’ll always discuss and agree this with you first.
The calculator uses our current pricing models for materials and labour, so it’s generally within 10–15% of the final installed cost. Accuracy improves if you provide exact measurements and clear site details.
We measure the surface area to be wrapped, factor in material type and thickness, then add labour, travel, and any specialist requirements. This ensures the price reflects the real-world complexity of the job.

Yes, for substantial installations or large material orders, we offer reduced rates. This applies both to our installation service and to bulk material supply.
Yes. Once we have confirmed measurements and project scope, we can provide a fixed-price quote that will not change unless the project specification changes.

Yes. EcoShrink scaffold wrap is made from recyclable LDPE; can be recycled where facilities exist; best results when clean and segregated; EfW as fallback.. For best results, the wrap should be clean and free from debris before recycling. If recycling facilities are unavailable locally, we recommend responsible disposal through waste-to-energy schemes.
Manufactured from UV-stabilised LDPE, our scaffold wrap is engineered for long-term outdoor exposure, often lasting over 12 months without significant degradation. Proper installation and tensioning ensure the wrap maintains structural integrity throughout the project.
We offer both standard and flame-retardant (FR) grades, tested to recognised UK and European standards. FR wrap is recommended for higher-risk environments and is often required for insurance or regulatory reasons. We’ll provide the relevant FR documentation as part of your project pack.
Common options for scaffolding are 250–300 microns. Thicker grades offer greater durability and wind resistance for demanding environments. Choosing the right thickness depends on your site’s exposure and project duration.
Yes. Our in-house printing service allows you to display branding in full hi-resolution PVC banners, allowing any custom graphics you wish to any size. Minimum order quantities apply, and we recommend discussing lead times early in your project planning.
Installation involves wrapping the scaffold structure, heat-welding sheet overlaps, and heat-shrinking the material for a tight fit. This process requires trained installers to ensure safety, weatherproofing, and compliance with site standards.

Our standard modular films are made from recyclable LDPE and
contain no prodegradant additives designed to fragment the
plastic. Where local facilities accept plastic films, they can be
recycled once removed and kept reasonably clean.
