Evidence-led claims (lab data, standards named)
Why BIOSHRINK is different
BIOSHRINK is designed for contractors who need construction-grade protection today and a credible end-of-life roadmap tomorrow. It installs with the same tools and techniques as standard LDPE wrap, but adds a carefully engineered biodegradation pathway supported by independent lab data under defined test conditions.

How BIOSHRINK breaks down under test conditions
BIOSHRINK uses an additive system that attracts microbes and supports biofilm formation on the film surface under specific test conditions. Over time, enzymes and microbial activity reduce the polymer chain length so that microbes can digest the material, converting it to CO₂, CH₄ and biomass in those controlled environments.
* Current testing includes ASTM D5511 and ISO 15985 for anaerobic digestion.
Products & specs
Choose the BIOSHRINK grade that matches your application. Both grades share the same biodegradation additive platform; thickness and roll formats are tuned for scaffold, marine & modular applications.

BIOSHRINK FR300
Use: Scaffold, façades, construction screens
Thickness: 300 micron (flame-retardant)
Roll size: 7 m × 15 m
UV life: 12 months+ (under typical European exposure)
End-of-life: Engineered to biodegrade under anaerobic conditions.
BIOSHRINK MOD250
Use: Modular transport, pods, off-site storage
Thickness: 250 micron (non-FR Grade)
Roll size: 12 m × 50 m
UV life: 12 months+ (under typical European exposure)
End-of-life: Engineered to biodegrade under anaerobic conditions.
Evidence & standards
We take claims discipline seriously. BIOSHRINK is backed by a clear test roadmap, conservative wording, and independent lab data.

BIOSHRINK FAQs
Where BIOSHRINK Fits
BIOSHRINK is engineered for the same demanding applications as conventional construction shrink wrap. The difference is what happens at end-of-life — and the evidence behind it.

BIOSHRINK for Scaffold Encapsulation
FR300 delivers a drum-tight, EN 13501-1 Class B-s1,d0 certified skin for façades, roofs and full elevations. Same install method as conventional wrap, with a credible end-of-life roadmap.

BIOSHRINK for Industrial Containment
FR300 creates fully sealed enclosures for blasting, decontamination, asbestos works and other industrial containment projects where dust, debris and compliance matter most.
BIOSHRINK is also available for marine wrapping, dust and weather screens, and specialist installations. Contact Us for application-specific advice.
