BIOSHRINK FR300 — Biodegradable FR Scaffold Shrink Wrap (300µ, 7×15m)
BIOSHRINK FR300 is a biodegradable, flame-retardant scaffold shrink wrap. 300 micron, 7m × 15m (105m²).
Fire Class: EN 13501-1 Class B-s1,d0
85.7% biodegradation at 1,575 days. Tested under anaerobic (landfill) conditions to ASTM D5511.
Also recyclable through LDPE film streams where accepted locally.
UV-stabilised for 12 months or more in typical European exposure. Tear-resistant, and installs with standard scaffold shrink-wrap equipment.

Fire performance
FR300 is certified to EN 13501-1 Class B-s1,d0. In plain terms: B is a high reaction-to-fire class for a shrink film, s1 means very limited smoke, and d0 means no flaming droplets. The SGS certificate (December 2025) is available on request.
FR300 installs the same way as standard scaffold film, so there is no change to your method or equipment.
Biodegradable by design
FR300 is built to biodegrade at end of life. Independent testing to ASTM D5511 recorded 85.7% biodegradation at 1,575 days under anaerobic (landfill) conditions. Microbial colonisation is confirmed under ISO 15985, and ASTM E1963 found no plant-toxicity effect.
Where film recycling is accepted locally, FR300 can be recycled through LDPE streams, and it is Energy-from-Waste ready today. Biodegradation is the lead route; recycling and EfW are secondary options. Read more on the BIOSHRINK page.

Scaffold façades, occupied-building refurbishments, modular and offsite construction, industrial containment, and marine projects where a certified flame-retardant, biodegradable film is required.
