Project Overview – Scaffold Weather Protection Highlights
EcoShrink delivered scaffold weather protection for the Victoria Halls renovation. The brief called for a sealed, tidy enclosure that reduced wind and rain ingress, controlled overspray, and preserved presentation on a live, public-facing site. We specified FR, UV-stable shrink wrap heat-welded into a continuous skin with practical access points for inspections and deliveries.

Method
Scope & Prep
Confirmed elevations, access points; issued RAMS and encapsulation plan
Planned elevations & weather to ensure smooth, progressive wrapping
Wrap & Weld
Installed EcoShrink 300mu, FR, UV-stable film
Heat-welded seams to form a continuous, sealed enclosure.
Finished with tidy welds and shrinking for a clean street elevation.
Fire Safety
FR grade verified with certificates; hot-works permits in place for welding.
Extinguishers positioned at stairs/hoists/door locations.
Monitoring & Compliance
Service life noted for wraps >6 months; periodic visual checks agreed.
Care & reseal guidance supplied, with a small reseal kit for minor repairs.
Results
The enclosure cut wind and rain ingress, improving working consistency at height and reducing call-outs. Public-facing elevations remained tidy, and wayfinding around the scaffold was clearer - supporting programme certainty.
